We serve children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Families must be affiliated with UT Austin or work for a state agency. Enrollment priority is determined by a two-tier system based on affiliation status.

Records and Information Management Services has released its 2026-27 training schedule, with courses available for both Departmental Records Management Contacts (DRMCs) and all UT employees. View upcoming courses and register in UTLearn.

New parking guidance is in effect for University cart and fleet vehicle operators. Please use designated parking spaces or back-of-house areas whenever possible. Avoid parking on malls, plazas, sidewalks, ADA ramps, lawns and other pedestrian areas. Temporary parking near building entrances is permitted when needed to unload equipment or safely complete work. Thanks for keeping campus safe, accessible and pedestrian-friendly!

To keep everyone moving safely through campus, the University is implementing mobility changes that will take effect Aug. 24. These updates are intended to improve safety and create a more welcoming campus experience in the busiest areas of campus. 

As records management officer, Jenny Alexander leads Records and Information Management Services (RIMS), helping The University of Texas at Austin manage information efficiently, meet state and federal records requirements, and simplify complex processes for campus partners. But her first adventure on the Forty Acres started in 2010, when she came to the UT School of Information in pursuit of a Master of Science in information studies. The iSchool’s reputation promised an education rich in expertise and practical skills on which she could build her career. In 2023, she ended her 11 years of leading records and information programs in the Texas Health and Human Services System to return to UT and take up the challenge of bringing her knowledge and experience back to the place that set her on this path.

Fleet Operations in Parking and Transportation Services was recognized by Government Fleet Magazine as one of the top 50 leading fleets in the industry in 2026 and was the sole university fleet on the list.

This spring, students from School of Nursing provided vision and hearing screenings for children enrolled at Child Development Center. This valuable collaboration assisted parents of children entering kindergarten next year.
