In order to better serve our campus community, Parking and Transportation Services has begun to deploy students to select garages across campus to assist with exiting traffic and to keep lines moving. This small operational change will improve the overall customer experience and keep our customers happy with moving lines of traffic.

A huge thank you to the Green Corn Project and the UT Texas Wranglers for spending their weekend working on our gardens! Thanks to their time, energy, and donations, our Pre-K playground now has beautiful garden beds, and they’ll be returning soon to complete the planter outside the 2’s hallway door.

The UT Child Development Center (UTCDC) kicked off the new school year with Back-to-School Nights at its Comal, Leona, and Capitol Complex campuses. Families visited classrooms, met teachers, and explored resource tables highlighting child development services, nutrition, and the Parent Advisory Council.

Congratulations to TSC Assistant Director Leo Flores, who is being honored by the Texas Swimming and Diving Alumni with the Frank Erwin On Deck Hero Award! For nearly 30 years, Leo has been the backbone of the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center, dedicating countless hours to ensuring safe, top-tier facilities for athletes. His expertise, commitment, and love for the UT swimming and diving community make this recognition well deserved.
