Child Development Center's Back-to-School Nights a Success

The UT Child Development Center (UTCDC) kicked off the new school year with Back-to-School Nights at its Comal, Leona, and Capitol Complex campuses. Families visited classrooms, met teachers, and explored resource tables highlighting child development services, nutrition, and the Parent Advisory Council.

Each campus added its own special touch: Comal families joined a scavenger hunt and raffle, Leona families contributed to a collaborative art project, and all sites offered opportunities to connect with the program director about UTCDC’s long-term vision.

The events set the tone for the year ahead—building community, strengthening family partnerships, and celebrating UTCDC’s commitment to high-quality, affordable early learning.
